John O'Connell on BNN, Jan. 21st

John O'Connell on BNN, Jan. 21stHere is his comment about Alexander Energy (ALX-X):

"This is a bet on management. Bought a great asset recently, which should work out exceptionally well. Stock had a huge run."

He then added that the asset was purchased from Renegade who had to sell because of it's debt, etc.

Well done, Mr. Budd. With the subsequent sale of another mature SE Sask. asset to Surge, RPL is now a much smaller company producing about 5,500-5,800 boe/d. About 40% now comes from Viking - I hope the company will issue an update soon.

In any event, I am not sure if production is high enough to support a dividend model. I hope, shares will go up regardless who wins. Than will give me some options.
