sericite? The following was taken from an abstract:
The geochemistry and origin of the gold-bearing quartz veins and lenses of the Yellowknife greenstone belt [Northwest Territories], by R. W. Boyle, Economic Geology, Volume 50, Number 1, January 1 1955.
"The zones of alteration enveloping the quartz bodies include an adjacent carbonate-sericite zone and an outer chlorite-carbonate zone that grades into the chlorite schist of the shear zone".
At the very end of hole CA-21-15, chlorite carbonate schist was intercepted. I wonder if carbonate sericite schist is a bit further down the hole, if drilled further? Garland, has any sericite been seen in any of the drill holes, drilled so far?
