Alternate Symbol(s):  RTMFF

RT Minerals Corp. is a Canada-based junior exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of primarily gold and base metals properties in Ontario, Canada. The Company's principal mineral properties in Canada, including Link-Catharine, Catharine Gold properties, Blakelock property, Case Batholith property, Galna / Moody property, Ireland REE property, Kendrey property, Kenogaming /Pharand Project, McQuibban project, Milligan Project, Nordica Project and Timmins project. The Company holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Link-Catharine RLDZ gold property comprised of 15 unpatented single-cell mining claims with a total area of approximately 220 hectares in one claim block, which is contiguous to the Company’s 100% owned approximately 102 square kilometers Catharine claim block. The Link-Catharine property is located approximately 25 kilometers south-east of the town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm unaware of what Dunvegan Dev Corp did on their ground in 1957, to the south of the WMA (42A04NW0158/42A04NW0158), in order to come up with targets for their drilling. Perhaps an older Geological Survey of Canada aeromagnetic map.
In 1978, Amax Minerals carried out a horizontal loop EM survey, as well as a magnetic survey (42A04NW8555/42A04NW8555). However, the electromagnetic survey did not record any anomalies which could be attributed to bedrock conductivity. The magnetometer survey did outline a discrete strong magnetic anomaly coincident with the location of the GEOTEM anomalies, with a 5500 nanoTesla peak near the eastern edge of the large anomaly.
The characteristics of the magnetic anomaly are consistent with the magnetic expression associated with an intrusion of ultramafic rocks. The western part of the zone (WMA) shows a dipole effect indicating a southerly dip.
Amax did not carry out any work on the EMA.
In comparing the WMA to a magnetic anomaly and geological environment (dunites and peridotites) in Garrison Township, the S.J. Bird Mine of Canadian Johns Manville, east of Matheson, shows a similar magnetic profile. It shows a vertical component magnetic profile over the asbestos project. From south to north, it shows a) a magnetic low over volcanics, b) a magnetic high over an asbestos fibre zone, c) a magnetic low over highly carbonatized serpentinite, d) a variable magnetic profile over a moderately carbonatized serpentinite and e) a high magnetic anomaly over uncarbonated massive serpentinite. Is this what we have in the WMA of the Kenogaming Property?
In 1992, E. Mord carried out some prospecting, and a VLF-EM survey over the WMA on the Kenogaming Property (42A04NE8554/42A04NE8554). Because of the overlying overburden, no outcrops were noted. The VLF-EM survey located four conductors that were considered strong EM responses. They generally correlated with the high intensity  magnetic anomaly. In their report, they mentioned "that AMAX likely drilled this conductor. However, no real cause for the conductor was noted in the log, magnetite was present in the log and this may have been the cause. Some minor background nickel values were reported. No further work is recommended for this anomaly". It is my opinion that both the GEOTEM and VLF-EM responses are due to the conductive serpentinites.
It is believed that E. Mord did not carry out any ground work on the East Magnetic Anomaly.
In 1996, J. Salo carried out a magnetic survey (42A04NW0070/42A04NW0070, covering only the West Magnetic Anomaly. I re-contoured the magnetic data, as I observed several areas of erroneous contouring. It is my opinion that towards the south central region of the magnetic anomaly, there appears to be a bulge or a 'trough', in which the nickel sulphides, if present, because of gravity, could have settled into. Referring to the map, this is also an area of the highest magnetic intensity.
