RE: Website update - related notesI'm not a geo but I've been aroudn this stuff a while Kevin - if you go back and check my post from, a couple of days ago I think - it talks about the porphyry (which is actually a diorite on the map) - prophyry is just a texture description - means a variety of crystal sizes to keep it simple. The breccia around it (as far as I can tell from reading the descriptions) probably came after the mineralization - think of a volcao welling up a big lava pipe that cools and hardens, then another slow eruption comes later and sort of eats away at the sides and oozes out. That would be the breccia. Breccia is also a textural description - a find groundmass (the "background" ) with big chunks of the original diorite in it. the "big chunks" are probably carrying the mineralization and the more chunks, the closer to the grade of the higher grade diorite. That's what I meant a few days ago about them looking for big areas that are not too "chewed up". The breccia has grade too, but the diorite has more and they are trying to zero in on another big mass of that. Or that is my guess for the day anyway.
Hope that doesn't just confuse the issue.
