RE: Sometimes, it''s a very effective ploy...Yes Kevein, indeed it is. It can be equally effective to be the "voice of reason" while pumping a stock. And Kevin, please, don't give me the "I'm no pumper" lecture. You've posted, what, a thousand times on this board perhaps? I like the potential too Kevin. Something I've pointed out numerous times but which you apparently think is some sort of "ploy" because I'm not part of the cheerleading squad around here. I think they need better grades and a starter pit to kick things off. Nothing new there. I said that several months ago here and I'm still waiting to see it. I'm happy they are stepping out and testing other targets, becuase those other areas seem like the best place to look. As far as your gesstimate goes Kevin here are your words: "Bottom line of this report is huge upside potential. Based only on what it says about gold and copper in only Pelangan and Selodong, conservatively discounted to just 6% for copper and 9% for gold, we’re looking at $14.70 per share, at today’s prices." Ok, I'll go along with the idea that I overstated in haste, though that quote sure sounds like a present value comment to me, with the word potential tucked in for safety. I'd aay the same about "7 too good to be true holes" commentyou made. More power to you if you think 0.2 and 0.3 holes are "too good to be true", but you're in for a painful career as an exploration stock speculator. As far as your comments about me disparaging Haywood, or anyone else (after a number of sly little digs at me, of course) you have, as usual, completely misread the intent of my comments. IF COURSE Haywood is defending the placement! IF I was a client (I'm not) I'd sure as heck expect them to. That IS the ethical thing to do in my opinion and I couldn't care less what they do or don't own. The comment was not disparaging - just a statement of fact. You're the one who attached some sort of negative spin to it, not me. As far as your "triple huh" goes - take a look at another quote you excised from the Haywood report: "Considerable drilling will be required to outline the extent of this large system and identify the “sweet-spots” of higher grade necessary to consider economic exploitation" That sure sounds to me like they have the same opinion as the market seems to. "Great looking project, just needs a starter pit" I hope they get them, and I'll be buying if they do. I'm sure you'll find some way to twist this too but I hope they hit a home rum in no small measure becuase I agree that managment is top notch and because a bunch of classy people own the stock (and yes, Kevin, I put you high on that list - beleive it or not). I just don't like seeing a bunch of classy people falling in love with something and getting burned when they could wait for the market to settle and get it cheaper. Been there, done that. Many times. As always, good luck with it. And, as always, that is not a sarcastic comment. I actually mean it. We'll compare notes after another half dozen holes. I hope (not sarcasm, again) that I'm the one who ends up looking stupid. PMD
