RE: RE: Oh My!!!-Sione

RE: RE: Oh My!!!-SioneSione......................

Let's take a look at your post and analyze it for a bit, shall we?

"It appears Muff committed the ultimate sin on this board. He criticisedSA management, hence the patronising and condescending responses."

Muff is not being called out for criticising the management, as many of us have done that before, and with reason.  When they do things wrong and make mistakes, it is expected that they will be criticised.  I doubt that anyone here believes that JP and company are invincible and perfect.  That having been said, the reason that Muff got a bit of a response is simply because he does not seem to notice that posting the same thing over and over again becomes stale and a waste of time.

the "big boys" post has been used more than 100 times in the last year, the "shouldn't this be trading much higher" as well, and they have both been answered kindly multiple times.  It becomes somewhat tedious to have to read the same posts over and over , that's why Muff was getting some responses.

"There is one particular poster on this board who posts nothing but foulmouthed abuse, but nobody says anything because he's a SA cheerleader."

As for the poster who uses foul language, I can't see it.  I most likely have that person on ignore because of it.  If as you say, this is indeed the case, then you definitely have a point and it should be taken into consideration going forward without a doubt. I wholehearted agree with you there.

As for why Muff got the responses he received you are incorrect and I hope you agree, looking back at the exchanges.

I am critical of management when they make mistakes and I do not care how many people do or do not agree with me, because it is not their money that I invested, but mine. When they do well, it is also customary to post kudos.  The problems always seem to lie with the people who are unable to see both sides of a story. Those people who believe that management can do no wrong are fooling themselves, but let it also be known that those who believe management can do nothing right are just as bad and that remains a statement that is difficult to argue.

I am pleased to see posts by both sides, as long as they have something to offer that can be considered of value.

cheers,

vwig.
