RE: Kevin23 has done a good job---sheesh

RE: Kevin23 has done a good job---sheeshBuyB4.....................bad effort, really.  I haven't said much about your posts, but this one is a bit too obvious.

First of all, I don't think that what Kevin posted on his site is a romance novel.  That reference was not called for.

Also, I would love to hear which financing Kevin was invited to participate in at a low cost, thereby making you assume that he was in this manner being compensated for his "romance novels" about SA.  If you are going to go that route, then at least also have the decency to name the exact financing.  In case you think it was the CNC financing, just be aware that many others, including myself got in on that financing at the same rates Kevin was offered, and we don't write "romance novels" about the company. The requirement was that you needed to be meet certain parameters with relation to net worth to be able to participate, not that you needed to speak well of SA. So, if it was that one, then please insert the foot of your choice in your oral cavity.  If it was another financing, then please express which one it was and get yourself some credibility.

As for your assumption that Kevin somehow derived some manner of income from having SA pay for his visit to the properties a few years ago, let me simply say that unless I am mistaken, he was already on a trip and included the visit to Indonesia at the request of management, who believed it would be a good idea to do this for the benefit of many shareholders who had expressed an interest in getting firsthand information about the properties.  Now, if you think that Kevin had a good ole time and this somehow benefited his financial status, then I believe you should rethink your argument. I know for a fact that although he appreciated the trip, he did not get any monetary gain from it. Stating that the company paid for the trip is just childish and a very weak attempt at discrediting his efforts in this case. I think that most shareholders were able to derive some gain from the information brought back , so are they then also must be as guilty as Kevin in this sense, no? Our benefit was derived without us having to travel half way around the world and get jetlagged for it or wait for hours in several airports. We may have gotten a better deal than he did, don't you think?

I doubt very much that there has been monetary gain in the time Kevin has been spending many hours writing about a company he believes in.  Can he often seem to be a spokesman for the company...........Sure, some may see it that way. Others understand that this is one guy who needs to watch his substantial investment closely and has found a great way of doing it.

Think about the fundamental reality, though.  How much info are you going to get when you stay miles away from a company as opposed to breathing down their neck, being on good terms with them and continuously asking for any info that is available in an effort to protect your investment? I would think that the latter approach will garner better results.

I know that you and Kevin do not get along, as has been clear here on the board, but I also suggest that you need to be careful when you make statements like you did in your post.  They will come back to haunt you and reduce your credibility rapidly here on this board, much like your attempt at humor with the "romance novel yourself link."

As soon as you understand that a great many people here on this board know exactly what they have invested in and realize that Kevin Graham is simply a very zealous shareholder who feels a great need to be right on top of his investment, you will be able to better grasp the overall sense of what Mr., Graham is trying to accomplish with his sharing of information.  I think it rather childish to try to discredit him with the jabs and pokes and silly little artwork, as many feel that he is providing a serious level of support for those who do not want to take the time to do all the necessary dd to fully understand their investment.

Although I do not always agree with his analysis, I appreciate the fact that he spends a lot of time delving into the company and the care he takes in sharing the info with other shareholders. Some may not like his approach and I have found myself at odds with him a few times in the past as well, but we have done our best to keep it respectable and always managed to find some manner of middle ground in the hope that all angles continue to be looked at while we try to protect and better understand our investment.

Kevin has his way of staying on top of things and this is it. You either like it or you don't.  Making fun of the guy won't get you any brownie points, believe me. It is best to go with the flow and enjoy the info while he still enjoys sharing it.

cheers,

vwig.
