RE: RE: One big happy SA family again? OTHarmony beat me to it, but I'll add this.
With all due respect, Muff......... if your desire is to find some manner of appartenance because you have reached that level in your life, may I suggest that you go out and find something more constructive to do such as some volunteer work to assist others in finding their place in life?
A broader area of interest and some assistance to those really in need may be the very thing you require to give your life some added value, yes? The idea that you live your life around this board and the perception that you have about what it represents seems a tad limited in the way of a life choice, doesn't it?
This is not a family, but a group of people who have invested hard-earned money in a company that they believe will change their lives. We all hope, of course that our immediate families will benefit from this choice, but therein lies the only connection to family here, in my opinion.
The idea that you make it such a large part of your daily ritual may be indicative of a lack of purpose in life? Perhaps it is time to look into areas where you can be useful to others. Perhaps another area of activity may enable you to find this "family" you obviously seek with immense and perpetual obsession.
If you are unable to identify areas where you might make a real difference and perhaps find a "family", inbox me and I'll gladly give you some options, for old times sake, as it were. I am retired and have a lot of time to spend looking for things to fill my life with to make it more meaningful, and would be happy to share with you some ideas that may be of interest.
cheers,
Vwig.
