not there yet, long way to go.Nice that they would announce that we are finally drilling on Mencanggah.
Still have a problem with no one watching.
The bids are very slim, and the price is very depressed from what all of us were expecting, based on the companies "talk".
I am very curious as to how they will address the creation of an appropriate environment for a SUSTAINED share price going forward. I'll be looking for a creative approach to actually attack this issue.
5 months left to achieve the "this is the year we show you value " statements.
Only thing that matters to me now after so many years is the final result of the full drilling program and share price by end of year. All delays and excuses aside, the company now has to deliver. Credibility of management rests on their ability to make good on their statements. Reputations in this sector are hard-earned but easily lost.
They now have many drills turning and more to come and they firmly believe their geology to be correct. They have pressed us many times on this and clearly indicated that there is little chance that they are seeing it incorrectly. They have taken care of the safety and security issues, as well as diminished a very large chunk of the administrative and political issues.
There should be no further unforeseen excuses not to get us some value now.
This is the final test. There will be very little room for error going forward and shareholders will be very critical as we move closer to the end game and to the point where management can not ask for further patience due to "unforeseen circumstance". It is the very ability to identify these circumstances before they happen or arrive that makes a management team "great " as opposed to "run of the mill". They have applied this to the political aspect of this investment, and now let's see them apply the same planning and care to the drilling process and the "on the ground" strategy. At this point, and considering the number of people who have been holding for so long, I really think that management will not be spared any critique should they have left any stones unturned here.
I also fully expect that by the time the September meeting comes around, the company realizes that if they have not shown sufficient value reflected in the share price, that they may have to reduce expectations of the number of people attending.
So, having said that, let's sit back now and allow the people on the ground to show us what they have.
cheers,
Vwig.
