I doubt that has anything to do with it.
People overestimate the impact of tax loss selling.
I think it's more likely a combination of...
a) The junior exploration sector and venture exchange overall are both so out of favour that people simply don't care what any individual stock is doing
b) Getting the permit was important but only if the subsequent drilling doesn't yield poor results (as another poster suggested)
