Sterling Metals Corp. ($SAG.V) is about a month into the 2022 exploration program at its Sail Pond Silver project, located in Newfoundland.
The exploration program is two-pronged with one team focusing on drilling the 2021 Heimdall Zone discovery and another conducting soil sampling, geological mapping, and prospecting in the effort of generating new targets.
Past exploration showed that the Heimdall Zone contains high-grade quartz-vein-hosted mineralization within a larger area of low-grade mineralization.
Given this, I'm really excited to see what the drilling team finds at the Heimdall Zone and I'm hoping we will get an exploration update soon.
