Stone Canyon site visit

Stone canyon has to date put $5.2 Billion into the sector for the income generation paying $4 for SALT would be a steal
Comment by Highprob on May 05, 2022 2:07pm
makes sense if they took it in that area all in they would be paying what $500 million with no legacy costs, top of the line modern equipment and the lowest costy producer in North America (TO BE)
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 05, 2022 3:38pm
If management were to sell this for suck a giveaway price, they would be retarded. I am glad that management holds a deciding vote, because retail ppl would sell this for a fraction of its falue.
Comment by twoponds on May 05, 2022 5:06pm
You nailed it.  Management already knows the resource valuation, they knew it several months ago at least.  The feasibility study just gives it substance for accounting, as in a buyout or development of the project INHOUSE or to finance it to bring it into production. Idiots that spew $4/sh valuation are talking out of their asses and know absolutely NOTHING about the industry and this ...more

Yea it cracks me up when people say they expectr a 4 or 5 dollar buyout. I mean it has a value of over 80 billion. It could be scaled up to whatever they can sell. 10 million tons per year or more. The owner will own the market. Its a cash cow....its going to be like an ATM that has unlimited cash spitting it out for our and our kids lifetimes. Rowland and the boys aint going to give it away for ...more

I get conservative valuation mentality but the numbers tossed around of ~$4 are borderline intellectually challenged lol...resource in the ground people, resource in place, resource waiting to be mined with little investment to bring it to market lol...it is laughable...
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 05, 2022 7:09pm
I know right. Rowland got paid millions when he retired from compass. He does not need to work. And he sure as hell did not come out of retirement for a few peanuts. He came out of retirement because this mine is actually better then and surpasses Godridge. I mean from what I have read the Godridge mine is like a underground city. The labour and infastructure costs are huge. Once Atlas is set up ...more

Hope it gets into the $4 area one day myself
Comment by Highprob on May 05, 2022 6:52pm
Amazing that you guys can see it selling for what $32 or whatever # you say and it can barely hold $1.4 see the disconnect?
Comment by Scionxb777 on May 06, 2022 4:47pm
You would be best to sell off you just don't understand mining if you think this resource is worth 300 millions or $4 per share . There will be no buy out Howe and Laracy will build this mine watch and see the Howe victory lap
Comment by Highprob on May 06, 2022 5:47pm
who do you think will be closer to their expectations me expecting $4 or you excpecting $32   And you are missing one factor
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 06, 2022 6:20pm
$50++
Comment by Highprob on May 06, 2022 6:23pm
So if it is going to $5 let alone $50 why is it at $1.4
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 06, 2022 6:37pm
Because a lot of people like you dont know what is here and will simply luck out holding some stock by dumb luck. I suggest you start diging into the industry and the deposit. Its size, quality, ease of mining, shipping, infastructure and support in the area. As well as the deficet in the market. Minimum 7million tons per year at $75/ton......how much is that in sales? I predict about $15/ton ...more
Comment by Highprob on May 06, 2022 8:58pm
The people who will pay $50 do not know its at $1.4? I hope your realize you are being silly
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 06, 2022 11:30pm
I am sure quite a few shares have already moved to the ones interested. You do tealize that this will produce at such a low cost it could sell at the production cost of other mines and make a profit. They could put other places out of business. Multiple ramps and ports along the shore of the claim could have this at 15 million tons if they wanted to.  But whatever 80+ billion of resource ...more

Highprob, $50, we all know that is not true. Crunchy keeps saying this over and over again because he just doesn't understand the due diligence that will be done by someone looking to buy SALT, then the pricing discount and overall ROI over a realistic time frame, the size of the resource is one thing, the ROI to a company who will acquire SALT is 100% a different thing. $5-$10 would be ...more
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 07, 2022 4:52pm
I certanly do think $50+ pps is possible. They will displace most of the imported low quality salt and will cut into the existing. Lets say that they do 7-10 million tons per year and sell it at a discount of $70/ton. that will be a revenue of between 490 to 700 million. Say about 20% production cost for a profit of between 400 and 560 million. This is a mine that will spit out money like a ...more

You are not basing any projections in reality, you have now created an insane 80% profit margin
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 08, 2022 11:09am
Once the ramp is in place, the grinding auto miner machinery is in place and the conveyor is installed. What will be the expenses? They will be minimal. There are even no truck needed to transport to the dock. The machine will push ahead, grind crush and put on the converor for sale. A handful of miners, a few at the dock and some office staff. and yea someone to count the money ;) around 100 ...more

Sorry Crunchmeister, I believe you're mistaken about the labour required for cash counting. I believe it'll be a bigger crew than the rest of the entire operation combined. Counting.....lots of counting. A lot to account for. Me thinks Toronto & Ottawa are gonna be pee-owed when they discover NFLD will become the centre of Canada. Best to all longs sr

Yea i made a mistake it will be a big accounting department. ‍

Because it's undeveloped mine and many do not know what Rowland Howe is capable of . Not only is he a master mining engineer but he is considered to be and investment guru
Comment by St0ckgirl on May 09, 2022 12:04pm
Rowland Howe the one and only "Salt Whisperer" of North America.
Comment by Crunchy2chew on May 06, 2022 6:00pm
I am leaning toward one of the existing companies making an offer they cant refuse. I can see them throwing everything they have including the kitchen sink to get control of this one of a kind rare resource. Whoever rund this mine will simply OWN the sector. Its not going to be a mine, its going to be a currency mint. People throwing around 4 or 5 dollars are simply ignorant to the situtation we ...more
