Nothing is stopping the majors !!  Just the facts

  1. Time to market
  2. Pricing when it gets to market
  3. competition in humans !  Not rats or chimps.
  4. Patent ?
  5. Oral versus injectable ( small deal )
  6. others I cna't think of right now.

If a major wants it they will simply cough up the 100 or 200 million and buy SBM.  They will check it out thoroughly first....may 2 - 3 weeks.
