Personally, I think you are blowing a few peoples insights and chatter out of porportion.
If you dont like forum posters developing day to day rapport or chatter or banter back and forth, fak, stop reading these messages and go find something more productive to do with your time.
From what I have read, its not that anyone "wants" numbers - I believe we are all just excited and looking forward to hearing from companies initial comments, numbers and potential projections whenever they decide to announce. I am sure Levy is just as excited as the rest of us and we will hear something soon enough.
These numbers you say takes time to compile- these numbers I guarantee are available 24/7 and when Levy feels excited to share, he will share... has nothing to do with needing time to compile numbers... with software tools these days, they can pretty much have any stats or metric they want or need in a heartbeat.
People here are just excited, which is a good thing, so stop sounding like such a grumpy old man and relax yourself.
I read the same messages you did and I did not get the opinion or interpret it as anyone on here saying "we cant compete" with anyone. All that was said was a few posters opinion on fact that its going to take some time before we can compete with the main players who already built name/traction.
I on the other hand, believe our already developed user base will propel us to grow faster than any previous player in the game. I believe we already got a very credible brand with a well diverse userbase and we will very quickly become a leader in the field.
We are all on the same team. I agree we all need to relax, and be patient, but no need to deter people from being confident of expressing their opinion on this board. Everyones thoughts, and insights should be welcomed.
