Score YTD

Score YTDAfter reading all this negativity I have to put things back into perspective. TheScore is up 90% YTD, outperforming all indexes and the vast majority of stocks on all indexes. This has been an amazing year. Sure it sucks watching it go down to sideways the last couple months. However, all good stocks have long periods of backfill, consolidation, and profit taking. For 7 months earlier this year we went basically sideways Jan. - July. I heard a lot of moaning a crying then too, but whoever got shaken out, I bet, regrets it.

My advice, have a gameplan. Not just with this stock, but all stocks you go long or short. My gameplan is easy, buy and hold and do nothing. Let the thesis play out. Ill exit my position when the company is sold. You need patience. If you dont have it dont buy or just sell everything and dont look at the stock again. You need balls of steel to hold through the volatility. Sometimes the toughest thing to do is nothing.

If youre going to trade then trade. I wouldnt recommend it on such an illiquid stock with sometimes large spreads, but whatever floats your boat. Dont kid yourself and think that you know the top and know the bottom, because come on, you know you dont. If im trading a stock Im just looking for the meat of a move. Its almost impossible to get the exact top or bottom. Maybe there is a strategy to trade around news, not my style, but good luck all.
