RE:RE:Who comes out of this strong or weakerThank you MrH for the links to e-bet stories... your sage perspective and due diligence is very much appreciated by all of us on the BB.
An interesting note was on DraftKings who are losing money and based on their huge expansion plan must now be burning cash at a very fast rate. Hence this abrupt COVID-19 interuption in cashflow will require large and rapid cost cutting at DraftKings and others. Truly an interesting position for a companies in a 'scalable industry'.
IMHO theScore's smaller footprint and smaller cashflow issues are more sustainable, especially if Levy and team can fill their content void through a creative approach to retain users. Updates on COVID-19, player donations, player bios, with support from the major leagues - content has always been SCR's competitive edge. Accordingly, I am confident under Levy's leadership SCR will find a way to maintain it's relevance and user base.
So, as the recovery begins let's hope for a David and Goliath --- Hare and Tortoise scenario as theScore emerges even stronger!
