Brokerage coverage

My hope is that with this assumed blowout Q2, there are a handful of analysts that are prepped and ready to release on it's heels favourable supportive commentary. That would be a beautiful thing.

Thx for the invite DD. I'm watching this closely and it's ripe and ready to pop. All we need is a more doveish Fed and all systems are a go for major liftoff. It's going higher regardless, but the Fed is the final key. Not saying anything new here but that's what I believe

I often find that analysts will only tout a junior stock if they have some part in underwriting prviate placements. There has to be "skin" in it for them, hence their motivation to recommend a stock.

Haywood comes to mind. I call them promoters

And so we wait. Guidance is going to be an important part of the equation. Commodity pricing is ibviously beyond their control, but catalysts like Santa G assays and progress on Sorocaya are. I have it on good faith that Santa G is going to prove itself out. Couple that with managements goal to get Sorocaya into production as soon as possible and we've got a tailwind of sorts. SCZ is one to ...more

Soracaya is a better match for PAAS at San Vicente. BTW SCZ loves to report production in "silver equivalent" on metal content, and sure as hell not metal paid for. Big difference! Silver in zinc concentrate is barely recognized. Also smelter schedules deduct significant portions of Pb and Zn. AND SCZ doesn't mention penalties, Bolivian concentrates are dirty, with penalties on ...more

What are you talking about, they report all stats per metal down to gram per tonne. They aren't minority owners in Bolivia, just on a portion of the package not the entire portfolio Where did you come from anyways

Do your due-diligence. Sounds like you like surprises!

Well let's see Bolivar and Porco are 45% owned while Tres Amigos, Reserva and Colq along with Soracaya and Don Diego plant are wholly owned. As for production it's all smelted at Antafagasta in Chile and judging by Q2 production grades that is a fine concentrate with much higher grades of silver and zinc than Zimapan is achieving
Comment by Atima on Sep 13, 2022 9:51pm
Nothing is smelted in Antofagasta.  Zimapan is a dog, Penoles had shut it down, remaining reserves low grade. Bolivian mines are great.....except they are in Bolivia, and a poor business, particularly with Bo govt and unions calling the shots, cooperatives in the mines. Does it make sense now why Glencore has been trying to get out for last 10 years?

I suggest you do some due diligence and review the caballo blanco technical report from January 2022. Lots of interesting info there, technical :) For example all concentrate is sent to antafagasta for smelting, or actual concentration of Ag per tonne of lead concentrate 6,500g/t and 300g/t of zinc concentrate. But of course you wouldn't know that by just scratching the surface As for Zimapan, ...more
