Trudeau anti- oil?  Didn't he buy a pipeline for Alberta? He's more of a realist. He knows the end of oil is coming, but it will not be tomorrow. A smooth transition to a future without oil. We will all be dead, however, when that happens.

Correction, Canada's Taxpayers , bought and built that Pipeline, one that a Private Co ( Kinder Morgan Canada ) was prepared to build for $5 million U.S. but due to Trudeau Libs fumbling the ball over Regulatory restraints, , and because Trudeaus Minister from Manitoba couldn't find another alternate Investor to build it, finally had to petitiojn the Feds to take on the Project wherein the ...more

The Liberal Government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau purchased a pipeline to take Alberta oil to the west coast for export rather than selling it to the Americans  for pean uts. Alberta is benefiting immensely from this huge investment which cost 34 billion dollars. The Federal Government will eventually sell the pipeline to recoup its investment.
