RE:RE:RE:RE:Anonymous sitting on the AskThe only way to drive prices up is to buy the shares offered on the Ask.

Say the last trade was at .58 but there are 10,000 shares for sale at .59 and 20,000 at .60 .  If you buy all 10,000 shares for sale at .59 and then 1,000 at .60, you move the price u to .60 from .58, the last sale.  That's the way you drive up the pricre.  The other way is for everyone to not sell below say .70 cents then anyone wanting to buy would have to pay .70.  That is what happens when good news comes out and no one wants to sell for less than a price higher than the previoius sale and buyers are forced to buy at higher prices.  Just like ticket scalpers - it's a question of supply and demand.  Scalpers make more money at a World Series game than a game between two teams out of the playoffs.
