Vive PRE User Guide - HTC.com

It looks very much like the Raft cable as shown in an earlier Vive review I posted a week or two ago.  Very slim flexible cable that contains power, HDMI and USB cables all in one.  It's highly likely that they're using S7 chips.

I've written to HTC to see if I can buy a replacement cable.

If I can't get a cable is anyone interested in chipping in to buy a complete system to examine the cable?   Please let me know and we'll figure out how to get the money side sorted out.  .  Systems are available on Ebay for around $1600 US.

I met with Nikhil Thadani and saw closeup pictures of the chips in the cable!  He is very knowledgable, technically savvy and I think if anything, properly, a bit conservative in his expectations for SEV.  For example he uses a 15x multiple for the P/E ratio.
