Significantly, the shipments by vendor data at https://www.statista.com/statistics/671403/global-virtual-reality-device-shipments-by-vendor/ for some reason does not show Samsung Gear VR while the sales by brand data at the first  link above does, and it shows 3.65 million of Samsung Gear VR headsets to have sold.  I beleive it is confirmed sev is in Samsung Gear VR headsets (it is on their corporate presentation), so does that not equate to $15 million plus in revenue for sev from that source alone in 2017 at $5 per headset?  I think this points to q4 sev revenue likley being very reasonable, given the release of multilple other sev partner's headsets in q4 to supplement the already strong performance of Samsung.


Spectra7 tech is not in Gear VR. Gear VR is a low-end VR headset that uses a phone attached to the front for viewing...
