1 Million Metric Tons could mean $2.7 Billion for Spectra7Spectra7 seems to say they are expecting to sell cables to at least 100 Hyperscale Data Centers.
From the press release:
"Spectra7’s Eco-Link initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions by 1 million metric tons by 2022." "A large data center using Spectra7 technology can save several megawatts and over 10,000 metric tons per year of carbon emissions by incorporating ACCs over AOCs." If they plan to reduce carbon emissions by1 Million metric tons
, and each large data center using Spectra7 cables will contribute 10,000 metric tons of that decline, then that equals 100 large data centers.
Each data center can have up to 2 million cables. If 90% of them are in the scope of Spectra7's GaugeChanger, as stated, then that means as many as 1.8 million cables per data center, times 100 data centers = up to 180 million cables.
Spectra7 said in the last conference that they will get around $ 15 to $20 in revenue Per Cable.
$15 times 180 million cables is $2.7 Billion in revenue!
They are saying they MIGHT get up to $2.7 Billion in revenue between now and 2022.
