OKAY,

OKAY,According to the Spectra’s most recent corporate presentation a hyperscale date center utilizes about 100 servers.

Does anyone know how many cables are required for each server? This will be very easy to extrapolate revenue based on knowing these numbers.

Heck, if each server used 10 cables at $15 each x 100,000 servers we get to $15,000,000 in revenue per center @55% gross profit we enjoy $8,250,000. ( I don’t have a confirmed sales price per cable, only what I have read on this board as estimates)

That would cover a lot of the bleed in a hurry . The market will be quick to reward Spectra with a really nice multiple, especially since this is a B 2 B play and not a retail component of their company revenue!

This would explain why Luxshare was looking into building a facility that could produce up to $3 million cables a year in a joint venture with Spectra. (This was something I read on this board and have not seen any company press release from either firm supporting this information)

The beautiful thing about accurate numbers is that they don’t lie...
