This is really a game changer for the company, as it looks like the Oculuse and Vive units could average about 1,5 million annually combined excluding the Oculus Go untethered sales.

These numbers were based on the Q3 sales reports issued from another article I pulled off of Google. Even if the combined number from these 2 headsets is closer to 1 million units it would generate about $ 5 million in revenue for 2019!

Sonys sales of 1 million units could yield another $5 million in revenue for 2019. Not sure when the company will start booking revenue for the new version, so the numbers are hard to pin down for both tethered VR and newly found console sales.

The company needs to generate another $10 million in the Data Center space to reach break even numbers for the year 2019. 

Does Vive also offer an untethered version unit similar to the Oculus Go product?
