Spectra7 Enabled 400Gbps Active Copper Cables Achieve Produc

First Production Deployments Expected in North America

October 29th, 2020
SAN JOSE, CA - (Business Wire) (TSX-V:SEV) Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (“Spectra7” or the “Company”), a leading provider of high-performance analog semiconductor products for broadband connectivity markets, today announced that Molex has achieved Production Ready status with Spectra7 enabled 400Gbps Active Copper Cables (ACCs). First customers and deployments for 400Gbps ACCs are expected in North America.

"Spectra7 has created a compelling solution to address the dramatically increasing power and cost of data center interconnects," said Chad Jameson, General Manager, IO Solutions at Molex. “We are seeing significant interest from our largest customers for 400Gbps ACCs with Spectra7 technology and are pleased to have these cables moving into production.”

“We are thrilled to have Molex as a collaborator for our 400Gbps GaugeChangerTM technology," said Spectra7 CEO Raouf Halim. "They are a technology and market leader in the hyperscale interconnect market."

GaugeChangerTM is an innovative and disruptive technology that allows copper to extend much longer lengths without the cost and power penalty of optics. It works equally well at 25Gbps NRZ, 50Gbps PAM4 and 100Gbps PAM4 enabling new connector standards of 100, 200, 400Gbps.

Don't think so. We are in production. You want sales numbers? Wait for it in the Q's.  https://www.literature.molex.com/SQLImages/kelmscott/Molex/PDF_Images/987652-1864.PDF

I've been around a long time Steve. We know who the partners are. And I would hope after this long since "ramp up" statements were made for multiple 2H's...... the product would have already need production ready

Read the NR again. Its not Spectra7 that says they are moving into production. It's the molex guy that says it. Big difference, imo
