SFF – I am out!
Hi everyone. Today was a good day. I finally decided to sell SFF and although I took a massive loss, I feel a huge weight has been released off my shoulders. I have never taken a loss the size of the one I took today, but to move on and have a fresh start is one of the best feelings in the world. Although I believe SFF has future potential, investor confidence is gone and even good news may cause no reaction from the market. The management team has been terrible and I wrote them an e-mail today. Trust me it wasn’t a pretty one. Thanks to the knowledgeable people here on StockXXX, I feel confident I can make it back. The past few months have been extremely depressing watching the value of my portfolio plummet while missing out on huge opportunities. Many successful business men fail before they make it and I have to admit I failed on SFF. I was misled by poor management and didn’t protect myself with stop loses. Going forward I will only invest in revenue generating, profitable companies with growth profiles, and I understand the importance of diversification and setting stop loses. This alleviates a lot of risk. ..........
Unfortunately I involved a few others in SFF and I want to apologize to those who chose to follow my lead. This is a fresh start for me with a slightly smaller size portfolio for now. I will look to recover my loses by making much better investment decisions and I truly believe that this experience has made me a better investor.
..............................................
Good luck David. We must be getting very close to a bottom.
