Buyout?

so i'm kinda new at this and i'm wondering what a buyout would mean for this company? how much of a price increase  would occur? would your shares transfer over to the buying  company?

Well, Yamana Gold already owns 10% of the shares of SFF.  So they could just keep accumulating more shares so that their stake in SFF gets bigger and bigger, which would drive the share price of SFF up.  And given the voting influence they have, they would probably be successful in blocking a sale to another company.  So I think Yamana already has this one sown up.  Unless they ...more

To be a fly on the boardroom wall! The question remains-why would the CEO of the company buy 2 million shares on the open market based on the unknown. For that matter, would anyone gamble over half a millions dollars based on pure speculation.It's a reasonable assumption he has to feel extremely comfortable in his decision to do so. They have to prove some alot more results then right now.  There is no buy out IMHO for why would they hire alot of locals and open a new office down there? The CEO bought a huge amount of stock because he knows what he is doing. He is hiring people that are even smarter then him telling him what he is sitting on the huge land mass.  If prices keep holding up we will seem some ...more
