I've been asking myself the exact same question the past few weeks. Why don't you just go ahead and write or call David and ask him in what time frame they plan to release the news.
 

I posted  a lengthy correspondence with him a few months back and I'm tired of asking again and again.

The fact that almost nobody has ever posted info about correspondence with Seafield shows the interest in the stock... .

If the results have already come in then Seafield is probably waiting till mid August to release the information as this is the time most investors start looking at entiring mining stocks for the year. However we have already started the second leg in an upcyle this week so they might decide to release it tomorrow, my guess is however next friday. I doubt they would have waited this long with bad ...more

The question is, are they allowed to hold back information like that? I doubt they are.

No but you dont need the entire core sample to know you have a great find. Mining companies have a little wiggle room when it comes to drill results. They can slow down drilling or speed it up to get a report out close to then they want it released.
