How to you think SHL can/will make people whole on the offered CNC shares, those that may have sold their SHL shares since?

Again, I’m not leaving here till I get what’s owed to me, especially seeing as SHL wants those that have sold to contact them, and they NEVER reply. Yeah, okay, I’ll turn over my car keys and ownership before a buyer’s “personal check” clears.

So, someone buys out SHL, or SHL and NOB, what price of CNC share do they, SHL, give out; the price at which date of record, the new one or the old one? Either is a cluster eff. What if CNC shares are much higher since the old record date, does SHL cover for that (I might NOT have sold my shares right away)? Maybe CNC shares take a beating since the old record date (I might HAVE sold my shares right away then)?

In the end, everything “should” be copasetic, it’s management’s lack of communication in the midst of all this that has me off this company completely.

I wrote in to Mark, over at CNC, about his thoughts on this and I heard back from him the next day. But, yeah, you know, John is busy as all get-go making deals and such here at SHL; so that must mean Mark over at CNC has time to laze around the pool all day and get back to his investors (sarcasm).

Again, I hope you and many make money here. I just can’t wait to leave this investment behind me.

I am not able to answer any of your questions as I am speculating on what is happening here as much as you are.  However, in my opinoin I think we need to give SHL the benefit of the doubt at this stage and that the postponement was done for the right and justifiable reasons.  They said shareholders who sold would be made "whole" and I beieve them - again no idea how that will

I contacted the company and was told that i would get a cheque for the amount of CNC shares I would have received based on the Sept 2 CNC share price but I haven't heard anything else since. I have followed up a couple of days later and asked when I could expect to get the cheque but didn't get an answer. I will ask John again this week and I'm thinking about filing a complaint with

Thanks for this jerolapi - wondered how the "made whole" would work - this makes sense and seems fair. So... 2.7 million SHL shares could be affected by postponement... At 64.92 conversion rate this equates to just under 42,000 CNC shares... Which amounts to a total maximum payout of approx. $120,000. Not a small amount of $$ for a company like SHL but - as I have said before - I am not

Well, that’s a start (a cheque), but now how about a bit of compensation? So, instead of having what was promised, actual CNC shares into my account, I will now have to wait for a cheque, go and deposit the cheque, then buy the shares I was actually promised/wanted, and HOPE that the CNC stock price will be at, or below, Sept. 2nd’s price? I think a bit extra for the trouble would be well in

Shwayjao - with respect - to me guaranteed cash for the dividend value based in Sep 2 CNC price - when you no longer even have to hold SHL shares is very fair and reasonable - if that is what will happen. We are talking about a small minority who bought solely for CNC dividend and then almost immediately sold. Question for you - if you want CNC shares why don't you just buy them? They have

I have a good chunk of CNC shares already; it's about principle. You're right, many many variables. As always, time tells all.

You're right it is about principle - which is why I don't believe SHL would have done or taken postponement lightly. Until we hear otherwise I believe they had a valid reason for doing this and also a plan to address fallout from decision. Question I have is... Why the postponement?

The SHL postponement with their dividend release has nothing to do with what might be going on at CNC, or a possible deal with SHL. I finally got through to John last week, over a week ago, but wasn’t expecting to as I was driving and was looking to add another non pick-up, non communication response, for when I file (should I still?) with the TSX/V board about the lack of communication of SHL
