If the above quote is true (and I don't want to cast aspersions on Tim Froude if he never said this or is being misquoted), it would surprise me that a CEO of a mining company would ever say someting like this (unless of course he was joking.....?).

So, if he said it off-the-cuff in good fun and was making a joke, no problem.

But, if he said it and he wasn't kidding, then there are a few inconvenient flies in the ointment:

He doesn't know what he has at any of SIC's interests until they are drilled, assayed, resource estimates are produced, mines are built, and gold is poured. Unitl then, all one can use to compare companies at this stage are what can be observed / determined to date, such as the size and quality of the land claims (faults, strike length, etc.) and assay results produced to date.

He can't confiscate NFG's Queensway claims package, control NFG's assay results, nor how many ounces or how low an AISC any / all eventual mines at Queensway produce. He has no idea as to exactly how big a monster Queensway is - There is no more land being manufactured in Central Newfoundland and it seems that NFG appears to have by far the best of it, again based on what we know to date about the respective claims packages and the assay results produced so far.

Finally, he doesn't know how good HIS OWN claims packages will turn out to be, and if they turn out to be less than anticipated, where is he going to get new high-quality claims to "catch up" to NFG? It may be the case that Queensway will out-produce all other land in Central Newfoundland combined in terms of gold ounces mined and poured when all is said and done, so it's conceivable that he may have no chance no matter what he does when all is said and done -  He can't order or manufacture more land in Newfoundland with high-grade gold in it as Mother Nature won't cooperate.
