I appreciate your enthusiasm for the board and the story. I too am long here, trying to be patient.
However, I would stop with BRICS-- is it a story?
Yes,
But it is a nothing-burger. If it was a big deal, Chinese President Xi would have been there. Further, they expanded. This will sound counter-intuitive, but the bigger BRICS get, the less impact it will have, IMO. Why you ask?
if you look at the list of nations involved, can you imagine any of them coming to a consensus? No. They are way too diverse in influence and views. Each of those countries is rather self-seeking and will never have unified purpose. I used to think something about it, do not anymore.
