Waiting for Assays

Sitting on my hands. Loaded up waiting for assay results to start rolling out.

I hear you Geezer21. I am really looking forward to the barge drilling results and Grey River. Along with NFG of course, SIC is the best play.  GLTA BC

Hi Bluechipper, Where do you think SIC could reasonably trade upward to?  Any idea when you would consider selling?  I did successfully trade this stock a couple of times over the summer.   I have been buying over the past two months and sitting on over 80,000 shares.  Looking to work my up to 100,000, my limit. I have very good interactions with investor relations ...more

This should hit 1.00 if you compare to LAB???

Hi Goldred,  No one except God knows what the limit is here. It is impossible until we know what is at Moosehead and through in wild cards like Grey River. If the one drill at Grey River shows promising assay results along with the GoldenHope lithium samples, and who knows about other terrifice land acquisitions like Fleurs and Kappenkeck. It is too early.  I am hoping they have a ...more

Well stated BC.  I'm going to hold my shares and wait this out - lots of expoloration to go.  Yes, some year ending good news for an early lift off in 2022 would be sweet.  Hopefully, a layup to raise more funds as you stated (minimal dilution).

Regarding your question on when would I sell. I never have a day where I sell everything. That is impossible to know. So as an example of what I do generally, but not always.  If I own 100 shares of SIC today. I am planning to sell half by the end of FY 2022 or 14 months from now. I would sell 50 shares evenly over the next 14 months. If there are significant changes towards next year end, I ...more

Thanks BC, Your comments are refreshing and very rational, and well thought out.  Experience is at play here.  The one thing that I have to constantly remind myself is that investing in juniors is speculative and some a lot more than others - therefore the wins are much larger but so are losers. I would like to think that SIC has considerably more going for it then the average junior ...more

Goldred, I will try to keep this as factual and unbiased as possible since I own a wack of shares in SIC. SIC is way way more than the average junior. In fact, to begin with, 90% of junior miners anywhere on the planet are junk right out of the gates. They spin their wheels for years and the ones that become successful is pure luck. The management of these companies is also very poor.  SIC ...more

Thank you for your insight BC. Well stated as usual.. I have a few shares myself (cannot sell at one time in other words) and I am very happy with what I percieve as a well diversified play here. None of us knows about lithium, which is a huge wild card. There is certainly a future in that.  I feel content to just slowly accumulate more. I will need this money in about 10 years, and feel ...more

Hey BC, What is your take on the NR from NFG yesterday regarding the assay results from 2 different labs, and their QA/QC program? The stock was down as much as 25% today.  What affect could this have on SIC (or any junior for that matter)? I am not sure which lab we use, but if it is the "problem" one, do we see a major SP pullback? Hedge

See  my posting about it on the NFG board. I added NFG at $5.62USD and $6.66USD today in my US dollar account. It is an overreaction in my view and a lot of geo techno stuff, however I have very little knowledge in this area. I used common sense and also asked a geo I know who said this is overblown. As far as SIC is concerned, it has zero effect as far as I know.  Do your own DD. & ...more

"I used common sense and also asked a geo I know who said this is overblown." I go along with the geologist you queried.  I am a former metallurgical technican and back up the geologist that this is overblown.

Agreed. I think some folks needed to realize that this is not BreX. NFG's drill results continue to be spectacular. I view today as my gain due to picking up NFG on a 20% downturn.  I can point to negative "events" occuring on blue chips. Remember Facebook a few years ago when it traded down about $140 (today it is $340). I added then to FB. Nvidia a few years ago had negative ...more

SIC uses Eastern the lab that did the second set of results so all good. The other lab is in Vancouver. BC -great comment on SIC! Also it is very undervalued at these levels with existing results and company management.
