kinross had interest in a deal or non disclosure on alpha and sitka staked another 1000 acres there? some seem to think its better play than me....but they know far more about geology than i do. anyone know if this rumor is actually real? maybe still meaningless

Someone named WalterWhite in the CEO chat room, who seems to be respected and seems to know what he's talking about, mentions the same rumour.  An interesting twist to the story, if true.

That kind of stuff is never public so guesswork in my opinion. The claims staked are the same in the nr and waiting on permits to drill.

The frustrating part of putting the pieces of the puzzle together, so much is not public, just speculation.  Some people's opinions carry more weight than others, WW strikes me as someone to pay attention to (among others).

I am going to take a stab at this!  Personal opinion but no more drilling at Alpha until the fall/winter.  As near as I can figure they will be concentrating on the Yukon for the near term.  If you really believed Alpha was that good you jump right in with more drilling.  In fact you postpone the Yukon and spend the funds and meters accordingly.  Common sense says we all
