SLHG sets themselves apart from other primary care networks by running on a value-based care model (VBM) rather than a traditional fee-for-service model (FFS).
They recently acquired Florida Primary Care Group Doctors Center Inc. adding 4 clinical locations to their network. Making them have almost 30 clinics across 5 states
A couple of days ago $SLHG announced that they are appointing Dr. Kit Brekhus as their new Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Brekhus has already served as the CMO of Colorado Community Health Alliance
Additionally, he was also a chief medical executive for one of the largest clinically integrated networks in the Rocky Mountain region
