This is a great market ... love to see the dummies selling ... who obviously don't understand the market ... sorry to be harsh ...it's a long way to go for gold yet .... the dummies will be back at higher prices ... this company has a lot of assets. I'm loaded and relaxed.

Yea short position are basically up in every mining company so defenitly a big move to try and stop the sector, but like always it just fuels us high eventually.

In my opinion, it seems like someone has been shorting more and more since mid june excpecting the gold price to pull back or for the economy to colapse. which I don't see happening any time soon with all the money been injected in the economy. Anyways whoever is shorting SMD is retarded, of all the company SMD is probably to one trading closest to it's fair asset value without any

Sometimes you see the short numbers pick up when there is a fund raising in the works, but not yet closed. Since the PPs are often at a discount to market - and usually with warrants - the investors can lock in their profits by shorting the shares and then just ride the warrants for future upside.

And does the potential for bonanza grade drill holes at mt Hinton ring a bell for anybody? I would think that drill results are less than a month away now.

My general rule of tumb is 4 to 6 weeks after annoucement of the drills turning, but the thing is they are eager to have reasult to see if they want to bring a third drill rigs so we might have result in late August if they test ASAP but an annoncement in mid August that they decide to bring the extra drill rig (which would confirm great result before the lab test are done) or a twitter photo the
