If you feel that Sardine Hill is problematic then you need to even look at all the Shoreham properties. Heck they are having local EPA hearings on the Marudi property with the locals and it is quite an interesting read. I would post it but you seem to like doing research on the net so go for it. Heck Guyana had problems with the Omai pit mine but it was built and millions of ounzes taken from it and I am not too sure that it will remain closed now that gold has a value to it once again.
