Hey FOMO hows it going? Manitoulin Island is about a 1.75 hr drive from the Sault. Your dad might have been talking about Makinaw Island which is visable to the east of the Makinaw bridge. You might remember the bridge. Its really high and 3-5 miles long. You can also see through the grating which you are driving on down to the water. Some vehicles have been blown right off that bridge. Makinaw Island still doesnt allow cars on it. As far as fishing this weekend I have never experienced this before. I lost every single one I had on the line. Didnt even get anywheres close to the boat. Oh well next time. Go Solr!!!!
