IMO best guess is a large shareholder (non-insider) is a potential competitor or a large business that really values what SPN is doing; hence has offered to buy-out the company and wants it at a discount.
I don't have access to short positions; (think you need to pay for this type of access) but does anyone know the percentage or share-count of any short positions?
When I say 'large company'; I mean a company that uses the SPN platform and values the intel; thus wanting to keep this intel to themselves; keep the share-price low so SPN remains under the radar. A good percentage of SPN's clients are billion dollar corporations competing to remain billion dollar corporations; CEO's that make 60M a year type money.
Thats my conspiracy theory for the day!
