Many of the Products have already been developed, and now just need last financial push to successfully get these products through regulatory and to market. Countless lives will be saved, Health care systems will be thrown a life line and Billions of dollars in revenun opportunity for SQI to boot.
For additional perspective - Each Lung Surgery is over a million dollar revenue for the hospital, with half of that representing profit. Utilization of donor lungs would go from 1-2 of 5, to 3-4 of 5. Real lives here with people dying on waiting lists.
Dr. Brad Wouters, Mark Taylor, Dr. Lorenzo del Sorbo, and Dr. Shaf Keshavjee, all prominent names with UHN being quoted in todays press release. The opportunity is beyond obvious to anyone who has the details. The above four and the UHN certainly get it. The Management Team and Directors at SQI get it. Those already invested get it.
Some in the Government get it too.
Some here have questioned the values or integrity of the big three directors that have financed the majority of the company for many years.

These same people write $25 million dollar checks to charity. To think that they would strategically walk away from supporting the company or not find funding at this junction would not be in keeping with common sense, from almost any perspective. Who would benefit? Who would suffer? The SQI story and Vision Shaf and UHN have with it are truely huge. Billions at play. Countless lives.
Do the right thing for all shareholders, or allow some to benefit over others?
I do not believe these guys are dirty.
