Update soon....We should be getting some initial drill results from El Mezquite quite soon, maybe in the coming days if we're lucky. While i don't expect anything spectacular or earth shaking, some half decent results might put the stock on the radar of investors and might garner enough interest to MAYBE move this closer to a dime. This assuming of course that those nitwitts at HQ, the so called mgmt team of this dismal company don't start dumping their holdings.... again.... and put downward pressure on the stock. In my estimation, we should be good to get some news next week at the earliest and for sure by end of month if they're experiencing some delays.
As mentioned several times here, i don't expect much from this property but it is their second best asset so they better get some "acceptable" results from Phase I to justify a continuation of the drilling programme to Phase II and spending more precious time & money. Especially now that Pino De Plata atm is completely offline and probably about to be written off. I would hope this is NOT the case, but their persistent & dumbfounding silence and their reluctance to update s/h on its status speaks volumes.
I still strongly believe investors should have some exposure to Silver, whether directly with owing the bullion itself or indirectly by owing stocks of miners or ETF's. As i've indicated since the beginning here and maintained througout, i don't think Silver Spruce is ANYWHERE the best Silver play or even the most attractive highly speculative play around. But at 5 cents with a large portfolio and having the word Silver vitually in its name, it should do reasonably well if the sector goes ballistic & the investor FOMO goes wild in the next 12 months. Having a decent, viable and potentially promissing asset like Pino still active on its books, would have went a long way to remove much of the risk with this company and added some premium to its stock. I guess we have no choice here but to wait for this mgmt team to wake up from their comatose state to find out the fate of Pino and the effects on SSE s/h'ers.
In the meantime, those wanting a little more stability with a lot less risk should look elsewhere besides investing in here. In that instance, i'd recommend a more mature and actual established producers. This one is definitely not for the feint of heart & investors should be fully prepared to lose their enitre investment. So make sure you know your risk tolerance before committing any funds in Silver Sprout.
Here's hoping Pino is still alive & that the upcoming drill results are a complete dud.
Good luck & God speed
