For those bashers....

For those bashers....It's funny how you think what you say will bring the price down or something. The diamond find is HUUUUGE! To get a sense of what they found, consider: https://www.tres-or.com/articles/RW-JulyAug-2007.pdf (reposting for those who haven't read it) "The chances of encountering a significant diamond in the core sample are slim, although it happens once in a while, such as Aber’s discovery drill hole that led to building the Diavik Diamond Mine. A significant diamond is one whose size is greater than 0.5 millimeters in diameter." From the news release: This diamond measured 3.20 x 2.70 x 0.95 mm and weighed 0.06 carats. That's 65 times bigger!! (3.2 x 2.7 x 0.95) / (0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5) And the Diavik Mine seems to be doing quite okay... lol
