Wesdome it is I guess it's almost official. Wesdome has made an application to the Ontario Environmental Registry for changes to their recently revised tailings plans. The application specifically mentions the processing of ore from Edwards Mine.

This proposal is to amend the existing Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) Number 3821-8ATJSD, issued on December 10, 2010.
The existing approval covers the sewage works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of approximately 1,900m³/day of industrial process wastewater from a gold ore processing mill operating at 1,200 tonnes per day and processing ore from the Eagle River Mine, and the Edwards Mine, the Mishi Pit, all located in the municipality of Wawa. The purpose of this proposal is to implement several improvements to the sewage works that will facilitate the operation of the tailings management area (TMA), reduce loadings of listed parameters in the effluent discharge and reduce the potential for unintended discharges due to TMA capacity challenges.
