RE:RE:RE:SnowstormFrom what I have researched, extreme cold weather does have an impact on the fracing fluids. Contractors who specialize in heating the fluid and also the oil tanks May or may not be available in that area yet. Haliburton uses a cold weather resistant polymer mix that creates a gel like fluid purportedly a better fracing compound. But a lot of water still gets used in these operations and in that kind of cold it could be a challenge just keeping water from freezing. This could be the simple reason for the delay. Again, this is only my guess from a little bit of research on the impact of cold weather on this type of work.
