What's Next?Well, lots really.
1) The remaining assays from this Keezhik hole (the bottom part of hole, from prophyry contact to end of hole)
2) Miminiska assays - today announced that VG (again) was present and noticed when the core was sawn for assay.
3) Opikeigan assays - from 4 holes. Holes intersected extensive quartz veining, some of which can be seen in Casey report, as well as sulphide zones. Quartz veining contained gold in past.
4) Reserve Creek assays - 3 holes; all holes intersected VG
All together, there are approx. 1200 samples sent for assay from the 4 properties.
5) Co. is currently mapping and sampling Silverjack silver-copper-zinc-lead project in preparation for trenching and drilling.
6) Trenching to take place on Silverjack, Mitchell (copper) properties.
7) 3000 m of drilling to take place on Silverjack-Nash Creek to further expand the resource of these combined properties that currently have over 9 million tonnes (silver-zinc-lead) outlined. This future open pit mine is currently worth approx. 500-600 MILLION. The deposit is open pit amenable with all infrastructure in place incl. power lines, highway and railway.
8) Both eResearch and Casey Research have both commented on the potential of an arrangement with Xstrata to feed their mill/smelter since operations only have 1 year left. Any expansion of our resource adds to SLAM's value and appeal to Xstrata - financially, politically.
I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but today's assay was only the first of many of assays and nrs to be released this summer.
