A Quick ComparisonAfter mooreman's post last week, I did a quick search of some small producing Ontario gold mines (1 Quebec) and their average grades and widths to see how they compare to our intersection. Yes. I know. It's only one hole.
Our MM-10-01 : 7.2 m interval grading 9.47g Au/t (including 64.1g Au/t over 1 m)
Black Fox Mine (Briges/Apollo Gold): Avg. Grade: 3.5 g Au/t Avg. Width: 4-7 m
Timmins Mine (Lakeshore Gold): Avg. Grade: 7.52 g Au/t Avg. Width: 5-6 m
Eagle River Mine (Wesdome): Avg. Grade: 8.6 g Au/t Avg. Width: 2-7 m
Lamaque Mine-Quebec (Century): Avg. Grade: 4.56 g Au/t Avg. width: not provided
Yes, it's only one hole, but interesting just the samoe to see that the grade and width are quite good when compared to these producing deposits.
