My wife and I spent about a half our talking to Mike at the Conference here in Toronto on Sunday. Nice guy (I think one of ladies at his booth was his wife). He believes that over the coming months the SIlverjack find will be expanded into Nash Creek and thus creating a bigger continuous find. Sounds like a good plan.
We talked about his motivation for the allowing the oversubscribing. He said, that it makes sense to forge ahead without the stoping drilling because of the constant need to raise money. They have about 3 million dollars for their drilling programs.
I really wanted to talk to him about Reserve Creek. We talked about the history of the property. Apparently, he was up there with another company in the late 80s. He waited until 2001 to be able to acquire the land claim. We went over the recent drilling results, that I know we can all now recite. He said his immediate plan is to step-out this fall between 12.5-15 meters (about 40 feet) from the "Bonanza" hole and continue out from there (it has been mentioned). They will be drilling shallow holes because they will not need to drill to deep and thus drill more holes. I asked him point blank, "Your a geologist, you've been up to the property, what's your sense, Is there gold up there? Mike responded (direct quote), "Yes there is definitely gold, we are not talking about a gold mine, but a potential gold camp...I'm not saying to bet the farm, but put a bet".
Cheers,
Lucky
