RE: RE: Nash DMS test
Most companies in which DMS testing does not pan out, do not offer that information to the public. I have inquired for it from other companies I invest with and they almost all do it, without publicity. Most companies do not give out information about DMS testing as SXL did in the first place. This is usually done in some small part in the background, as a normal procedure prior to looking at mining the ore. Only when "pre tests" look promising, do they proceed to fullscale DMS testing.
DMS testing is not a negative if it doesn't work out, but could be considered a forward procedure to "next test series" such as heap leaching, floatation etc.. You could consider it a short cut and cost saving procedure if it does work out........in effect a huge plus! A DMS test that one might consider to be "failed", never really is because of critical information learned from it. But, it is not really needed to bring share value to the company, as the ore body value is already established before DMS.
For a DMS test to be of benefit, the ore body has to be denser than the host rock for efficient separation. A case in point is, a sulphide nickel ore body I'm aware of, that is hosted inside a less dense limestone host rock, goes through a DMS process to recover the "ore" and the "tailings" used as back fill! Excellent environment protection!
If I have read the SXL NR's correctly they too have indicated that their "sulphide" mineralization is hosted in limestone, so the possiblility of successful DMS would seem to be on the high end of the scale in this case.
Also there are many combinations of DMS testing available, and the crushed core may have to under go several different procedures.......several different itmes to establish optimum efficiency in metal content recovery. Time could be in days, weeks or months depending on the lab and it's expertise and equipment.
In the case of SXL, looking at their NR track record, we will probably see a NR if the DMS results are positive, but if DMS can't be used, we wouldn't know unless someone inquires directly to the company and posts it on the board.
Even though SXL seems to sputter, the real investors keep in mind that the value basics are sound, properties exceptional, exploration in advanced stage, aggressive exploration for an A+.......... and it will only be a matter of time before it comes to the FULL attention of the large banking institutions, and interested majors, and then the shares will NOT be available at these prices for any longer!
