  31.104 grams per ton = 1 troy ounce.  Mining industry uses troy ounces.

There are 12 troy ounces per troy pound,  A Troy Ounce is not the same as an Avoirdupois Ounce.

Make sure you know your facts before buying or selling gold and silver!

But despite the difference I agree " Hand on to your shares" !!!
