RE: Drills"Boy I think this DOES impact R-190. If they can't get a bank loan, and don't want to go anywhere else, or can't, then this IS critical path for fianancing R-190."
Huh? Why on earth couldn't they get a bank loan? The project is profitable on just R190 - doesn't require anything else to get funded. Name another mine on the face of the planet that can pay for the mill and mine with just 1/70th of the deposit? The confirmational drilling is simply pro forma to allow them to put out a BFS on the next 5 projects - which will be virtually the same numbers as released in the SS.
Few in the industry have any doubts about the accuracy of the "historic" Cominco resources. Just look at the conversion rate from "historic" to reserves on R190 - 90+% - which is excellent conversion rate. And since a relatively low tonnage (but high grade) deposit saw such high conversion rates, we should expect similar (if not better) conversion rates on the large tonnage deposits.
With ~60MM tonnes of "historic" resources, 90% conversion into reserves with a miniscule confirmation drilling budget of a few million $ is dirt cheap. Any other play on the face of the planet would take years to drill and spend ~$50MM proving up similar tonnage.
TAM is so incredibly mis marketed it's ridiculous. Nobody knows about them - and those that do, are often confused by a piss poor story.
