Bill Stormont Appointed as head of IR

Bill Stormont Appointed as head of IRPerfect for the job. Bill is a bridge person linking First Nations Community, Asia, and Investment Community. Smart choice, and Bill comes across as really solid.

Tectonic Metals Inc (CVE:TECT) (OTCQB:TETOF) announced Tuesday it is bringing on veteran investor relations expert William Stormont to lead outreach activities between the junior explorer and the investment community.

Stormont’s multidimensional professional experience includes involvement in a diplomatic initiative that considered maritime resource joint development as a means of conflict resolution in Asia and co-managing a top-performing European equity fund in London. He most recently held the position of investor relations lead at Atlas Corp (NYSE:ATCO), a major global asset management company.

"From being IR for a multi-billion-dollar company to an equity analyst to a co-manager of a billion-dollar equity fund, Bill brings extensive financial and capital markets experience and deep insider knowledge of how the buy and sell-side thinks and operates,” said Tectonic CEO Tony Reda in a statement.

“Just as impressive is Bill's commitment to working with First Nations as he currently serves on the Board of Directors for a prominent BC First Nation. He will bring a very well-regarded level of professionalism, passion and reach to the important role of IR."

Stormont, based in Vancouver, holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.

"Joining Tectonic Metals to lead the company's investor relations initiative is an exceptional opportunity to be part of this industry-leading team and build on their already exemplary track-record,” the new investor relations lead told shareholders Tuesday.

“I am excited to contribute to Tectonic's success and am looking forward to engaging with investors to help them understand the compelling opportunity Tectonic's "shift in the game" represents."

Tectonic recently kicked off a new drilling program at its Tibbs gold project in Alaska that is designed to expand the 2019 discovery of the Michigan Zone, where the Vancouver-based company hit 6 grams per ton gold over 29 metres.
